Looking for a Oppinion!
Hi! I'm new at this forum. My name is Miguel, and i'm from brazil (sorry for my poor english). I'm here to get some help, cuz i'm a n00b *lol*, and i have a questions, and if its possible, i want to have answers.
Like the title of the topic says, i'm looking for a oppinion for my D/Mo Build. The point is:
I was trying to do a 130hp, but i don't liked, so i start to thinking what build i could use, and i realize that i don't like to take pre-made build, cuz i think that taking a pre-made build, i can't do my character be a Unique Character. So i start building. After my build was donne, i though that i have maded a good build. But later, i start to receive a lot of critics about my build. I wanna help to make my build become better (for PVE).
My stats:
10 - Healing Prayers
12+1 - Schyte Mastery
8+2 - Mysticism
My skills:
Healing Breeze - Mystic Vigor - Eternal Aura - Mystic Sweep - Victorious Sweep - Avatar of Balthazar - Mending - Balthazar's Spirit

I'm not much into dervishes but I suggest you read the sticky first.
You need to realise that dervishes are big damage dealers, with scythes critting at very high numbers. Self defense in PvE is not useful at all, it is best to let the healing and protting to a dedicated character.
At most, you should carry 1 or 2 skill that will benefit you team (not just you), such as disenchant, interrupts, or maybe offensive shutdown skills (see the necro curse attribute), but that's a last resort solution.
Play aggressively, you won't need self defense: What's dead can't harm you.
Don't be affraid of using common builds, they are often widely use because they are effective, and most "uot of the box" builds are sub-part of those. I do'nt know about your experience in game, but I'd suggest getting more aware of what's available to you first and starting creating builds afterwards.
As for your build, I think you should know that these kind of builds are often flamed at and considered very noobish.
Don't worry too much about that tho, we almost all used such a build (even if not everyone will admit it ).

yeah im the same with the above posters.
but just a ground rule for any build. mending is considerd one of the worst skills in the game. although it has some uses. most people will call you a noob is you use it. so dont worry about it.
just go for something normal. but i do highly praise you for making your own build. im not a fan of using pre made builds myself. but its a skill that gets better as your information about all skills increases too.

Mending is bad. Healing Breeze is bad. Straight-up healing is far, far more effective. Regen is highly effective for 55hping, but that's really about it.
Balthazar's Spirit isn't as good for energy as say, Attacker's Insight which requires a puny spec of 4.
Weapon mastery on all damage dedicated classes should be 14 at least.
Avatar of Balthazar is bad. Enchanted Haste or Signet of Pious Haste are alot stronger, and an elite slot is not worth 40 armour.
There is also no Aura of Holy Might (one-of-a-kind skill which shouldn't be bothered to be manipulated, so if you don't have Factions don't bother).
No IAS. (This should be a staple on any bar that has an easily accessable IAS)
Heavily used builds are often used because they are effective for the most part. Don't let PuGs determine their strength, however.
If you want something that's less used but can do the job done to some extent, I'm quite fond of the following:
[wearying strike][signet of malice][mystic sweep][heart of fury][aura of holy might][no skill][no skill][no skill]
The last slots? Anything, really. No, this doesn't equate to the power of most PvE bars, but it's quite fun to toy with.

tyla said it all well, have at least 14 in your weapon master and dont use superior or even major runes. healing skills are usually bad in a damage dealing character, leave that to dedicated healers. the only monk skills that are used outside the profession is things like mending touch and things of equivalence. kudos on trying to make a build, but its usually better to just use one of the common builds.
